1975-1981
Fortyfive years ago we started, with our two coaches, stuff and student transportation as well as our first tours within Greece with destinations such as Tinos, Crete, Corfu, Zakynthos.
1980-1985
We start organized coach tours abroad, such as Italy, Hungary, Yugoslavia, Turkey, Bulgaria.
1985-1990
Positive feedback from our partners and travellers exceeds all expectations. Thus, in 1985, our head office is transferred to our new owned premises at Egnatia street, nr 76.
We apply absolute computerization and expand into full travel services, such as air/sea tickets issuance and individual packages.
At the same time, new branches are established, most important of all the one in Athens. Thus, ZORPIDIS brand name is known all over Greece.
Our first depot at Lagada street is now operating providing maintenance and supply to our fleet which is constantly increasing at a yearly rate of 3% new coaches. Most important, the first elevated coach operating in Greece in 1985 belonged to Zorpidis fleet.
1990-1995
Crisis in Yugoslavia changes the “tourist map” in Greece. Thus coach tours are replaced by organized air tours, initially with schedule flights and then with charter ones. At this time there are regular flights all year long to France, Austria, Hungary and inside Greece to Crete, Rhodes, Mykonos, Kos, Corfu, Lesbos, Santorini.
At the same time, begins our Incoming department, offering initially tourist transportation and afterwards full services, such as hotel booking, guided tours. During the same period we establish a currency exchange network under name of ZORPIDIS EXCHANGE.
1995-2000
This period marks the most rapid growth of ZORPIDIS GROUP.
STATUS Company is established, specialized in exotic tours, overseas destinations and incentive travels.
A complete business travel department is operating, offering- beyond classic hotel and air tickets booking- additional services such as interpretation, secretarial support.
All kinds of Congresses and Conventions are being handled by the special department STATUS CONGRESSES & INCENTIVES, supporting the organization, planning and materialization.
YOUTH TRAVEL begins with expertise in youth travels, school and students organized tours. Every year we organize tours for more than 25000 students, fact that proves our qualification in this field.
New technology coaches are purchased and our fleet exceeds one hundred. Their maintenance is being carried out at our new 22 acres owned ultramodern depot, comprising garage, parking spaces and traffic management.
2000-2005
With a share capital exceeding 5,2 million euros, in 1998 turnover reaches 4,5 billion drachmas, in 2000 7,3 billion drachmas, attaining in 2005 32 million euros. Up today, Zorpidis Group employs over 200 staff.

Challenged by the new business model of globalized market characterized by rapid technological development, we set our new goals including

Today our fleet consists of more than 100 luxurious new technology coaches, all air conditioned, while most of them are equipped with TV, video, bar and WC. Low average age is the characteristic of our fleet.
The fleet includes coaches of 8-12-17-20-23-25-30-35-48-70-72 seats.
All our drivers have many years of experience, are linguists and most of all willing to serve in any case. It is worth noting that most of them work with us since the establishment of the Company. ZORPIDIS BUS was chosen by the 2004 Olympic Games Committee for transportation of the athletes and administration members.
Εxclusive and unique. All our coaches are equipped with the innovative SKY PROTECT FLEET system, which, assisted by satellite connection, allows constant location of each coach with precision of building block.Τhus, additional security is ensured with the most effective anti-theft system. Moreover, they are equipped with navigation system which provides all necessary information for the driver, such as maps, traffic, weather conditions etc.
Combination of the excellent maintenance in our own premises and the important size of our fleet guarantees safety, sufficiency in any seat number coach but also immediate replacement in case of unexpected failure or breakdown.
